La Picanteria
EAT, Peruvian
The tradition of picanterĂas revives in the streets of Surquillo.
The seasoning returns, from a time that barely looked askance at the existence of restaurants to find the kitchen of improvised dining rooms in private homes.
In these it was enough just to knock on the door, wait for them to open and ask if there was anything to eat. Normally it was a dish to share in a stew or spicy to accompany the chicha and chat with friends.
Everything ended up becoming a culinary event in which the popular kitchen dressed in its best clothes.
